Claire Fowler is the associate dean of the college who oversees the academic progress of all Princeton undergraduates. She coordinates academic advising, working closely with the academic departments and the deans and directors of the residential colleges . Students are encouraged to consult with their dean or director of studies about specific academic concerns.

Dean Fowler serves as secretary to the Committee on Examinations and Standing, which oversees undergraduates leaves, withdrawals, and readmissions, in addition to reviewing student requests for exemptions to the University's academic policies and procedures.
