Academic Support

Students are encouraged to consult the Academic Support at Princeton website for the most up-to-date and comprehensive list of resources relating to both course specific assistance and general academic support.  Deans and directors of study are available in the residential colleges to provide students with academic guidance.  The Office of the Dean of the College coordinates a number of resources and programs dedicated to academic support for undergraduate study.  If you are experiencing difficulty in a math or science class, assistance is available at the Frist study halls and review sessions, or you may request a peer tutor from your residential college dean. Trained consultants at the McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning can help you develop study skills; the tutors at the Writing Center offer support for those trying to improve their writing skills.  Students are encouraged to communicate with their instructors and academic advisers when they encounter difficulties to ensure that they are receiving the full range of support available to them at Princeton.
