Study Halls
McGraw Study Hall
@Frist in Math, Economics, and Science
During both fall and spring
semesters, assistance in introductory-level mathematics, chemistry, physics,
and economics is offered through the McGraw Study Hall @Frist, located in the open
study area in the 300-level of the Frist Campus Center (next to the McGraw Center). Qualified undergraduates serve
as free, on-demand tutors, helping students who have difficulty with
assignments or general mastery of course material.
The study halls are open Sunday through Wednesday evenings, 7:30-10:30 p.m.
Tau Beta Pi Engineering Study Halls
Tau Beta Pi,
the engineering honor society, offers study halls staffed by
undergraduate tutors for several sophomore-level engineering courses in
the spring and fall. Information on these study halls is broadcast by
e-mail to sophomore and freshman B.S.E. students and is also announced
in class.
