Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students

The directors of student life are responsible for supporting and enhancing the undergraduate residential and extracurricular experience within the residential colleges and work to encourage the highest standards of good citizenship and respect for others among members of the residential college community. They assist students in promoting a strong sense of community within the college and in understanding and making best use of the non-academic resources available throughout the University. Specifically the DSLs are responsible for adjudicating disciplinary infractions, overseeing the RCAs, providing guidance and support to individuals in emergencies and personal crises and serve as resources to the College Council.
