The Alberto Santos-Dumont Prize for Innovation recognizes a unique and creative program, event, initiative, or project from the past academic year which has had wide-reaching impact and visibility. Any student, group of students, or student organization may be nominated to receive the award.
While we place great value on the many long-standing Princeton traditions which distinguish the student experience here, we would also like to recognize those individuals or groups who have imagined and implemented a new opportunity to strengthen the undergraduate student experience. This award is meant to recognize co-curricular, ground breaking initiatives that have been launched over the course of the previous academic year.
In the spirit of the award’s namesake, an innovator who showed that flight was possible, nominations are encouraged that highlight the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit found on Princeton’s campus. A committee will convene to determine the official recipients of the inaugural prize(s).
