Davis International Center
Mission
The Kathryn W. and Shelby Cullom Davis '30 International Center was founded by volunteers — faculty, alumni and their spouses, and community residents — in 1974, and it became a part of the University in 1978. The Center's mission is to ease transitional adjustments for international students and scholars and to foster understanding of diverse cultures among Princetonians on and off campus.
Services
The Center's rooms at the Frist Campus Center welcome international-minded students, scholars and faculty for informal and scheduled gatherings. At other campus locations, the Center collaborates with student and alumni groups and academic and other offices to sponsor social, cultural and speaker programs. These programs and dialogues help to foster better understanding of Princetonians' diverse worlds and to develop a cosmopolitan outlook on the Princeton campus and in the surrounding communities.
