Residential advising program
Upperclass residential college advisers (RCAs) and alternate advisers provide indispensable guidance and support to new students in the residential colleges.
In the six residential colleges, RCAs share responsibility for advising first- and second-year students on many aspects of University life. RCAs initiate a variety of activities, facilitate friendships among new students, support students during the transition to college, and refer their advisees to resources and offices as needed.
RCAs also work to implement multicultural programs and to support a diverse community of students in the colleges.
