"This is Princeton" performing arts showcase Friday, February 19

The benefit event is designed to highlight the rich arts culture on campus, and is free and open to the public. The showcase will feature performances by University musicians, singers and dancers.
A number of talented solo artists will perform, including the following singer-songwriters: Princeton senior Ellen Adams; Princeton junior Phyllis Heitjan; and
Talented group ensembles also will be featured, including the graduate student band NAFTA, the student Indian dance troupe Naacho and the undergraduate musical theater group Princeton Triangle Club. The Black Arts Company will perform a dramatic piece and the co-ed student a cappella group Shere Khan will sing.
The event is organized by the University's Undergraduate Student Government Social Committee and the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students.
Donations will be accepted during the event to benefit the Arts Council of Princeton's community youth and scholarship programs, which provide free and subsidized arts education programming for at-risk local youth. The complimentary tickets can be collected at the Frist Ticket Office (open Monday through Friday, 12pm to 6pm) or at Richardson Auditorium starting at 6pm on Friday, February 19.
