Student Leaders -- Register for an Inclusive Leadership Training on September 12th
Sustained Dialogue Would Like to Invite Your Organization to an Inclusive Leadership Training on September 12th
Sustained Dialogue is an organization devoted to fostering dialogues on campus issues among diverse groups of students. Diversity is an inclusive word; it is not limited to minority groups talking about minority issues. Sustained Dialogue needs students with strong minority identities, but also people who think that they are "not diverse". And we need students whose identities are considered "diverse," but who might not personally feel that way. Sustained Dialogue only succeeds when we really hear from everyone.
In that vein, we are opening our September 12th leadership training to select student groups. This is the first time that we are offering training to non-SD members, and we hope that we can use it to bring together our whole campus. We want to create dialogues where none existed before: between politically focused groups and community service organizations, sports teams and cultural groups, groups concerned with student health and tutoring organizations.
Our training will be a unique opportunity to learn interpersonal and intercultural skills highly valued in our globalized economy, network with leaders from campus groups that you might not otherwise have the chance to connect with, and bring new ideas and enthusiasm back to your group.
Please join us for the first Princeton-wide Sustained Dialogue Inclusive Leadership Training. Space is limited. Please register your group here before August 19th. For more information about Sustained Dialogue, please visit www.sdcampusnetwork.org.
