FELLOWSHIPS INFORMATION SESSION The director of fellowships advising will hold an information session for juniors who are preparing to study abroad in the spring. Topics to be covered include preparing and researching UK fellowships, including the Rhodes, Marshall, and Gates Scholarships, as well as Fulbright and other international options with due dates in the early fall. Campus information sessions for potential applicants begin in February, but with some planning, being abroad will not be a barrier for successfully completing the applications processes. Students who are abroad can meet with the director of fellowships advising over SKYPE, correspond over e-mail, and learn about the fellowships via the fellowships website and Blackboard site. Moreover, if you are thinking about returning to the country to which you are now headed after graduation, you can develop valuable contacts for fellowship applications. Princeton students who have studied abroad, undertaken research abroad, or participated in IIP, EWB, and other international initiatives have been particularly successful in the fellowships arena. Please review the fellowships website: www.princeton.edu/oip/fellowships to learn more about what options might be most compelling McCosh 62 · 4:30 p.m.– 6:00 p.m. |
