PIF Housing Information

Finding housing is an important part of preparing for the summer. Options include sharing an apartment with another PIF intern; renting a room in a private home; booking a room in a hostel.

—Finding suitable lodging takes time. Former PIF interns can advise you on housing-related questions and some employers may help students to find the lodging. Take a look at former PIF participant evaluations for housing recommendations specific to placements (evaluations are on file in the Office of International Programs, 36 University Place, Suite 350).

Before you begin your search, you should consider the distance between home and work and the number of Metro line changes; the safety of the arrondissement; the convenience of the location (food shops, proximity to metro, etc.).
