Approved Semester and Year Programs
This list of approved programs is not comprehensive or restrictive. Many other interesting and highly regarded options exist.
If you find that your academic interests are best served by a program not on the approved list, you may petition to attend an alternative program. You will need to present the pertinent information about the proposed program and explain why it is especially suited to meet your academic goals.
| Africa | Europe |
| Asia | Latin America and the Caribbean |
| Australia/New Zealand | Middle East/North Africa |
Please note that you may not attend programs in countries where there is a State Department Travel Warning in effect. If you have questions concerning study in such countries, please consult Dean Kanach.
In reviewing the information about approved programs, note that most programs and foreign universities accept students on a rolling basis, even if they advertise a specific application deadline. As a result, popular programs may fill before the stated deadline date. Additionally, many programs are flexible in accepting applications after the deadline if space is still available. For programs and institutions on the approved list that have published application deadline dates that fall after the internal Princeton deadline for applying for study abroad (November 1 and May 1), we have moved the application deadline up to the Princeton deadline.
Please note that for Princeton Programs and Exchanges, a campus deadline may be earlier than the deadline indicated in other program information, and the application should be submitted to the Office of International Programs and not sent directly to the host university. If you have missed an application deadline, please contact the Office of International Programs as soon as possible.
