Semester in the Field: Tropical Biology Program in Kenya (Princeton program)
Location: Mpala Research Center, near Nanyuki
Dates: Late January to early May in Kenya, followed by three weeks at Princeton
Language of Instruction: English
Courses: field ecohydrology, globalization and technology, natural history of mammals, and restoration ecology taught by faculty from Princeton and the Mpala Research Center
Housing: Tents provided by Mpala Research Center

Other information: The program is organized and overseen by Princeton faculty for Princeton students. The department hosts an information meeting each fall for interested students. Consult the EEB departmental representative for further details. The EEB Department offers this field semester in collaboration with the School of Engineering, the Program in African Studies, and Kenyan institutions.
