Undergrads: ‘Google Apps at Princeton’ login is changing

Undergraduate students, expect a change to the login page to Google Apps at Princeton.  Soon the gmail.princeton.edu login page will look and function much like a consumer (non-Princeton) Google login page.

Google Apps at Princeton login page

What changes exactly? The login page will no longer look like a custom Princeton page and to log in you will need to enter your entire Princeton email account (for example, pustudent@princeton.edu), not just your Princeton netID.

With the new login, you will be able to log into your Google Apps at Princeton account from both gmail.princeton.edu and gmail.google.com.

There is also a 'Stay signed in' option.  Please remember you should only use this option if you are on your private computer and your computer is password protected.  If you use some other computer to access your Google Apps at Princeton apps, always remember to sign out when you are done.

This new login will be same across all Google applications, so what you see here you see everywhere. It will also make it easier for your to switch between Princeton Gmail and any consumer Gmail account you may have.

If you have questions about the new login page, feel free to contact the OIT Help Desk at 609-258-5324 (8-HELP) or helpdesk.princeton.edu, or start a chat from the OIT website at www.princeton.edu/oit
