Update your computer with McAfee VirusScan software now!

On Friday, June 26, 2009, support for Symantec AntiVirus at Princeton was discontinued. If your computer is still using Symantec, it will no longer receive updated Symantec virus definitions from Princeton. If you do not take action now and change your antivirus software, your computer will not be protected.

On or about June 28th, if Symantec was still installed on your computer, you began receiving Windows notifications that your virus definitions are out of date. If you try to manually update them, you will receive "broken" error messages. At this time your computer will be at risk.

Infected and compromised computers can jeopardize the Princeton network and your network connectivity. Repair is time-consuming and disruptive. Make sure your computer is protected. If you have not already done so, download and install McAfee from www.princeton.edu/antivirus now. This applies to all personal and home Windows computers.
