IT training now in session at 701 Carnegie

OIT training is now taking place in the new training facilities offered at 701 Carnegie, on Canal Pointe Boulevard.

The new training location offers two bright and spacious training rooms with state-of-the-art projection systems and plenty of whiteboard space. Each room has 12 workstations and a central conference table for 6 to 8 additional laptop workstations or room for round-table collaboration. One of the training rooms offers Windows workstations, while the other offers Macintosh workstations that operate in either the Macintosh or Windows computing environment.

The 701 Carnegie multipurpose rooms offer a location for larger classes or training sessions that do not require hands-on exercises.

As an added convenience, the 701 Café is open for lunch now, and beginning November 30, will operate from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the workweek and offer breakfast, hot or quick lunches, and morning and afternoon snacks. Next time you sign up for a class, consider coming early or staying after class to dine at the Café with your colleagues.

Access to 701 Carnegie is easy by TigerTransit or by car. 701 Carnegie is on the West Line Extension, the first outbound stop after the Dinky station. If you come by car, you will find plenty of visitor parking spots close to the building’s entrance.

The OIT training team looks forward to seeing you in their new facilities. For complete details about the 701 Carnegie training facility, see the Training and Documentation website. For questions, e-mail training@princeton.edu.
