Reunions 2009 mobile site receives Honorable Mention
The Princeton Reunions 2009 website received an Honorable Mention in the category of Best Practices in Alumni Relations from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
OIT’s Web Development Services group developed the mobile site for the Alumni Association. The site was used during Princeton Reunions to provide mobile access to activities, schedules, and logistical details. The site's collection of pages is optimized for touch screen mobile devices, though they also display on other devices. It has an iPhone User Interface (iUI) framework and pulls content from the Roxen Content Management System. To view the Reunions 2009 site go to m.princeton.edu/reunions.
In addition to receiving a CASE Accolade, the project was featured in an article in the Nov/Dec 2009 issue of CASE CURRENTS journal and in the Wired Campus blog on the Chronicle of Higher Education site. To learn more about the 2010 CASE Accolades, see http://www.casetwo.org/awards/accolades.html.
