iPad and iPhone: app purchase program and repair services
OIT offers two new services to support iPhones and iPads at the University.
Apple App Volume Purchase Program
If you need an app for your iPhone or iPad, OIT manages an Apple App Volume Purchase Program for purchasing iPhone and iPad apps for institutional use with institutional funds.
To purchase apps, send an e-mail request to the OIT Software Store at firstname.lastname@example.org. In your request, include the name of the app, the quantity to order, and the project grant number to charge. Departments that order larger quantities of apps may choose to designate a departmental Program Facilitator, who then can process orders for apps for the department. iPhone and iPad Repair Services
If your iPhone or iPad need repair, look to OIT's Hardware Support for service. Hardware Support is located on campus and is authorized to perform minor iPhone and iPad repairs as well as facilitate repairs with Apple, when needed.
Consultations for iPhone and iPad repairs are facilitated through the OIT Solutions Center Tech Clinic in the Frist Campus Center. The Tech Clinic has walk-in service hours from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm during the academic year.
