Scheduled campus network outage: Feb 2, 5am - 9am

The University’s data network will be unavailable on Saturday, February 2, from 5am to 9am. 

All services that depend on an Internet connection or access to the network will be unavailable. This includes access to resources on campus, access from campus to the Internet, as well as access to campus resources from off campus. The University’s telephone system will be operational throughout the outage.

This service interruption is necessary to complete work that will improve network reliability and minimize vulnerability to power outages.

The OIT Help Desk will be open throughout this period to answer any questions you may have and will be reachable by telephone at 258-4357 (8-HELP). Help Desk updates can also be found on Twitter, following PUOITSOC.
