Analog-to-dgital conversion of course-related materials
- Description:
The New Media Center can transform physical media (books, slides, transparencies, photographs, video tapes, etc) into digital formats. Scanners can also turn printed text into a searchable digital file through optical character recognition. They can digitize Video tapes (Mini DV, DVCAM, VHS, Hi-8, Digital 8) into a video editing application and convert them into a variety of formats. Audio formats (Cassette, DAT, MiniDisc, CD, Portable Recorder and vinyl) can also be captured, edited and converted to the desired format.
