The Office of Research and Project Administration (ORPA) is comprehensive in its scope and mission, providing sponsored research services through the work of our experienced and dedicated staff. Our work is facilitated by information management systems pertinent to both the University’s and sponsors’ research funding and award management needs.
Reporting to the Dean for Research, ORPA is committed to serve as the central University resource for faculty and staff by providing the financial and regulatory stewardship demanded in today’s research environment.
In support of research funding and compliance, ORPA offers a wide range of services including:
- Review and approval of proposal submissions
- Grant and contract award negotiation and acceptance
- Sponsor liaison on award issues
- Subaward and consulting agreements
- Property management
- Coeus system support and award data management
- Education, training, and outreach
