Profile
As a Senior Grant and Contract Administrator, Jeff Petsis is responsible for the review and submission of proposals, contract negotiation, and grant acceptance. Jeff provides administrative guidance to faculty and department administrators throughout the duration of sponsored projects to ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines and applicable University, state, and federal regulations. He also helps to administer the Coffee with ORPA departmental training series and the On-Site Training program.
Prior to joining ORPA in 2009, Jeff worked in the Princeton Institute for the Science and Technology of Materials (PRISM) as business manager, and in the Office of Sponsored Research Services at Florida State University. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and Ancient History from Temple University and a Master of Arts in Classics from Florida State University. He has also studied at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Washington, and is still an active classicist.
