As a Manager, Grant and Contract Administration, Jeff Petsis plays a dual role, both supervising part of the Grant and Contract Administration team, as well as working with a select group of departments on the review and submission of proposals, contract negotiation, and grant acceptance. In addition to his supervisory and administrative duties, Jeff also manages the Coffee with ORPA departmental training series and the On-Site Training program.
Prior to joining ORPA in 2009, Jeff worked in the Princeton Institute for the Science and Technology of Materials (PRISM) as business manager, and in the Office of Sponsored Research Services at Florida State University. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and Ancient History from Temple University and a Master of Arts in Classics from Florida State University. He has also studied at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Washington, and spends his time outside of the office reading classical literature, baking, and spending time with his two black Labrador Retrievers.
