As an Assistant Director for Grants and Contracts, Marcia Black supervises a team overseeing both pre-and post-award administration for all sponsored research funding including the oversight of processes and systems for working with faculty and department administrators at all stages of sponsored research management.
Prior to joining Princeton, Marcia was the Associate Director of the Office of Research and Compliance Administration at Drexel University where, under her leadership, policies were developed and implemented to fit the challenges of compliance in research administration. An accomplished entrepreneur, Marcia spent several decades as the managing owner of three diverse and successful companies. She earned her MBA in accounting at Drexel University where she was a respected member of the National Honor’s Society for Financial Information Professionals. In 2006 she received her National CRA designation as a Certified Research Administrator.
