As a Senior Grant and Contract Administrator, Maureen is responsible for the administration of sponsored projects from cradle to grave for a wide range of University academic departments. She provides administrative guidance to faculty and department administrators throughout the duration of a sponsored project to ensure compliance to sponsor guidelines and applicable state and federal regulations. Maureen also develops/delivers course curriculum for the Coffee with ORPA training series as well as leads the website implementation team.
Maureen joined the ORPA staff in 2002 and was immediately cast as the team lead on the subaward encumbrance project while supporting a varied departmental workload. Before joining the Princeton staff, Maureen spent almost five years at Rutgers University in various research administration roles, from Acting Assistant Director of the Sponsored Research Office to the Pre-Award functional team lead for the Oracle-based university-wide integrated financial systems project. Maureen also worked for over 15 years as a renovation project manager for several construction companies in New York City, managing projects that ranged from $10,000 to $15,000,000 with workforces of up to 100 tradesmen. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in communication arts from the New York Institute of Technology and has a Construction Management Certificate from the same institution. She currently serves on several USA Hockey committees for the improvement and management of youth hockey in the New Jersey area.
