Budget Development
Proposal budgets may include direct costs, indirect costs, and cost-sharing elements. Budgets should be developed utilizing the Coeus budget module. When preparing a proposal budget, keep in mind that costs must be:
- Allowable (adheres to sponsor terms and University policy)
- Allocable (directly benefits the project)
- Reasonable (prudent)
- Consistent (treated in same manner as like expenses)
