Project Resources

Princeton students have a variety of resources for funding civic engagement activities. If you're considering starting a new project, this information about Planning Your Own Project or Event will help you get started.

USG Projects Board
The Projects Board provides grants to student organizations for programs and events. The Board awards grants only to recognized student organizations.

  • Significance of and need for project (in the context of other work being done)
  • Clarity and completeness of project plan
  • Capacity of applicant(s) to execute project
  • Sustainability of project (or an explanation of why this is not relevant)
  • Benefits for relevant communities
  • Benefits for participating students

Students may apply for project funding by completing the online application form.

Community Engagement Group Projects
The Pace Center advises and supports students working together during the summer in community engagement group projects addressing public issues in communities at home or abroad.

Davis Projects for Peace
Davis Projects for Peace is an invitation to undergraduate students to design their own grassroots projects for peace, which they themselves will implement during the summer. Through a competition on over 90 campuses, the 100 most promising and achievable projects are selected for funding at $10,000 each.
