Student Organizations

Many of Princeton's student-run organizations have service and advocacy objectives. The downloadable Civic Engagement Landscape (pdf) distributed by the Pace Center provides contact information for these organizations and includes a wealth of information about other opportunities for civic engagement. It is also listed below. Please keep in mind that student organization culture at Princeton is vibrant and dynamic. As a result, organizations are constantly changing, so keep in mind that contact information for the following groups might be outdated. Please use the Civic Engagement Landscape as a guide, not as an ultimate source of contacts. The Landscape is organized in ten categories:
- Local Community Service
- Political Engagement
- Campus Life
- Identity Groups
- International Advocacy & Action
- Health Advocacy & Action
- Environmental Advocacy & Action
- Other Causes Advocacy & Action
- Dialogue and Discourse
- Civic Publications
Another good source of information is the listing of undergraduate student organizations on the website of the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students. The ODUS website is also a good resource for information and advice about organizing and funding events.
If you work with a student organization and would like to have your groups' civic engagement activities included in the Civic Engagement Landscape (pdf) or the weekly Civic Engagement & Public Service E-Newsletter, please send the information by email to pace@princeton.edu.
