Princeton University employees who commute to campus via mass transit are eligible to receive a 50% subsidy* on his or her monthly transit pass.
Participants of the program must be full-time, benefits-eligible employees of Princeton University. Participants under this program are not eligible for an annual parking pass; however, daily parking passes will be administered for special circumstances.

How it works:

Monthly Claim Form – Once your application has been approved, please submit the monthly claim, along with a copy of your transit receipt(s) by the 10th of each month via fax to PayFlex (877) 406-7220.

The subsidy will be given in the subsequent paycheck following receipt of your subsidy request. We ask that you send in the subsidy request by the 10th of each month to ensure there is sufficient time to process your request.
Employees with limited computer access may perform these monthly transactions at Transportation & Parking Services located on the A Floor, New South.

*NOTE: The mass transit subsidy is considered taxable income and is subject to federal and state income taxes. The subsidy will appear as additional income in a subsequent paycheck following receipt of your subsidy request.

In addition to the 50% reimbursement, HR offers employees the option of taking pre-tax dollars to pay for your transit pass. For more information please click here.
