Zahid Hasan named Fellow of the American Physical Society
M. Zahid Hasan, Professor of Physics, was recently named a Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS). Each year, newly-elected APS Fellows number no more than ½% of APS membership. Prof. Hasan, who was recommended for Fellowship by the APS Division of Condensed Matter Physics, was recognized “for the discovery of three dimensional topological insulators.” Prof. Hasan will be honored during the week of March 3, as part of the APS March Meeting in Denver, CO.
Prof. Hasan is among the seven Princeton researchers who were named 2013 Fellows of the of the American Physical Society. The fellows from Princeton and their citations from APS are listed on this link.
