Education Volunteer Opportunities
PCCM Education offers many opportunities for faculty, staff and students to volunteer in our educational programs. This is a rewarding experience that will serve you well in your career. Participation in education outreach activities satisfies Broader Impact criteria of most National Science Foundation grants. Furthermore, studies show that participating in such programs improves communication skills, allowing you to better communicate your work to both colleagues and those outside your field, from potential funders and business partners to children. All PCCM Education programs aim to improve science and engineering literacy and awareness for people of all ages. Volunteering for such programs serves the common good in developing support for new research as well as inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers.
