Morris K. Udall Scholarship

The Morris K. Udall Scholarship and Excellence in National Environmental Policy Foundation has created a scholarship program to attract students into careers in environmental public policy. The Scholarship covers eligible expenses for tuition, fees, books, and room and board to a maximum of $5,000 for one academic year.

Requirements

Nominees must:

  • Be a sophomore or junior (during the 2012-2013 academic year), who has outstanding potential, and a demonstrated commitment to the environment and related fields.
  • Have a GPA of at least a “B” or the equivalent. Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or U.S. permanent resident.

To Apply

To be considered for nomination, you must meet the above requirements and complete the online application below by Monday, December 10, 2012. You must include:

  • A one-page statement (please submit only one page) on why you would like to be considered for this scholarship. 
  • A copy of your unofficial transcript.
  • A copy of your CV/resume

Your application will be reviewed by Professor Lars Hedin and Undergraduate Administrator Angela Petsis. 

If you are selected as a nominee you will receive an application checklist, and will have until Friday, January 25th,  2013 @ 3:00 pm to submit your application materials and supporting documents to Angela Petsis, 127 Guyot Hall.
