2012 Summer of Learning Symposium
As a culminating experience to the internship program, students are required to participate in the Summer of Learning (SOL) Fall Symposium. This event allows students to share details of their internships with fellow interns, faculty and research staff and discuss plans for future research and independent work. The SOL symposium is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of individual students, exchange perspectives, develop a shared mission, and consider practical, achievable solutions to the world's most pressing environmental challenges.
Student Presentations
On October 5, 2012, all interns are expected to make a brief presentation regarding their summer internship and will be assigned to one of the following sessions:

- Forum 1B: Sustainable Development and Global Change, Campus Club, Prospect Room
- Forum 2: Energy Technology and Environmental Policy, Campus Club, Den

For group presentations, a 20-minute time slot is allotted. For more information, see Suggested Guidelines for Preparing Effective Presentations.
