Special Reunion Seminar: The Joy of Physics: A Recital of Entertaining Physics Demonstrations
The Princeton Physics Department has a longstanding tradition of teaching physical concepts through live demonstrations. This lecture will present some of the "greatest hits" from the department's extensive catalog of physics demonstrations. Included will be perennial favorites such as the Monkey Shoot, the Nose Pendulum, the Glass Meltdown, and numerous other tricks designed to both entertain and educate. Some serious physics talk may occasionally be included, but the bulk of this lecture will be pitched to appeal to kids of all ages.
