We recognize that deciding among options can be difficult. Individuals are encouraged to seek assistance from a confidential resource before deciding how to proceed. Confidential resources provide support and information regarding campus resources, options, and processes: confidential offices will not share information about an individual (including whether the individual has visited that office)without that individual's express written permissions, unless there is an imminent threat of serious harm to the individual or to others, or a legal obligation to reveal such information.
Individuals within the Physics department are also happy to assist students, faculty and staff who are dealing with difficult situations. The following members of the department have received specific training regarding on-campus resources: Dan Marlow [email protected] , Lisa Scalice [email protected] and Regina Savadge [email protected] and can help guide you to the appropriate resource. However, please remember that all University employees (excluding confidential resources) have a responsibility to report suspected violations of the Sex Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct policy to the Title IX Office.
