Physics Department, Princeton University

Physics Department members have many interests beyond the department and these lead to an interesting variety of extra-curricular activities:

• Every spring there is a Physics Department Recital and Art Exhibit held at the elegant Taplin recital hall in which department members show off their musical talents as well as their painting, drawing, photographic and sculpting abilities.
• The Physics Department has a team in the summer intramural softball league. If you would like to be part of the team, please ask a graduate student which student is currently serving as the softball team manager.
• Softball games are sometimes played at the annual physics picnic.
• PSPS Activities: the Princeton Society of Physics students organizes talks and activities for the Physics Students.
• Informal ski trips and bicycle tours are arranged.
