Application Fee
A nonrefundable application fee of $50 is to be submitted along with your application.
Program Fee
A comprehensive fee of $5,300 includes tuition, room, "Chinese table" meals, textbooks, and audio materials. It also includes all lectures, individual sessions, tutorials and extra-curricular activities as well as three daylong trips and two evening cultural activities on weekends. All other costs, such as all meals outside the "Chinese tables," are paid for by students. Students normally will need $800-$1,000 for living expenses. (This estimation does not include other forms of shopping expenditure though.)
Airport pick-up and drop-off at the beginning and end of the program is provided, based upon arrival/departure times. Transportation to and from Beijing is arranged and paid for by students. Students are responsible for arriving in Beijing on Friday, June 21, in time for placement and orientation which will begin early the following day. Airfare from the East Coast of the United States is expected to cost approximately $1,500 to $2,000.
Both Princeton and non-Princeton students are eligible to apply for Financial Aid.
