Chris Fuller is a professor in the Department of Anthropology at the London School of Economics, where he specializes in India. A recent research project focused on the modern transformation of traditionally elite Tamil Brahmans into a migratory, urbanized, transnational community. Fuller’s earlier work examined regionalism, nationalism, and globalization in India with a particular focus on middle-class managers and software professionals in Chennai. His other interests include in popular Hinduism, Hindu nationalism, the caste system.
