Mark Y. Urnov is the chair of the Faculty of Political Behavior in the Department of Politics at the National Research University – Higher School of Economics, a leading academic institution in today’s Russia. In the late 1990s, he was in charge of the Analytical Directorate of the President of Russian Federation; he also served as the first deputy director of the Centre for Economic Reforms, Government of Russian Federation. Mark Y. Urnov authored nine books and published about 300 articles in various Russian and foreign journals and newspapers.
