Princeton University freshmen, sophomores, and juniors in good standing are eligible to apply. The application process requires a personal interview.
- A completed application form
- An essay of no more than 500 words describing your motivation for taking the seminar. What do you expect to gain from the program, and what challenges do you anticipate?
- Your Princeton transcript (a copy is sufficient)
- Your résumé
- One letter of recommendation from a Princeton faculty member, a college dean, or a director of studies.
Application materials, including the letter of recommendation, should be sent to the respective seminar administrator via e-mail.
A disciplinary record does not preclude approval to study abroad, but we will review disciplinary records with the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Studies to determine if the record warrants withholding approval. Information from other offices at Princeton, e.g. residential colleges, Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students, University Health Services (with student’s consent) or others, may be requested as part of the application review process to ensure that all students can have a safe and productive international experience.
