Travel Information

When planning flights, students should be sure to consult the University BusinessTravel Portal, particularly “International Consolidators” under “Flights” on the main menu for low fares on major airlines.

Information on ground transportation to and from the Rome airports and in Warsaw will be provided by the seminar administrator, Susan Bindig.

Before departing, students must register online via the University Travel Database. Details on this process will be provided by the seminar administrator. The site also provides other valuable information on international travel and on university resources that will make the trip easier.

Passports and Visas

A passport, valid for 6 months after departure from Rome and Krakow, is required. To apply for or renew a passport, please consult: http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html.

Students may also apply for a passport through the post office in Princeton’s Palmer Square.

A visa is not required for U.S. citizens to enter Italy or Poland. Information regarding visas for non-U.S. citizens will be available from the seminar administrator.

Immunizations

McCosh Health Center will contact each student directly about required and suggested immunizations. A mandatory predeparture meeting with a health representative from McCosh will be held in April or May.
