Travel Information
When planning flights, students should be sure to consult the University Business Travel Portal, particularly “International Consolidators” under “Flights” on the main menu for low fares on major airlines.
Information on ground transportation to and from both the Istanbul Ataturk International Airport (IST) will be provided by the seminar administrator, Kathleen Allen.
Before departing, students must register online via the University Travel Database. Details on this process will be provided by the seminar administrator, Kathleen Allen. The site also provides other valuable information on international travel and on university resources that will make the trip easier.
Passports and Visas
A passport, valid for 6 months after departure from Turkey, is required. To apply for or renew a passport, please consult: http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html.
Students may also apply for a passport through the post office in Princeton’s Palmer Square.
Immunizations
McCosh Health Center will contact each student directly about required and suggested immunizations. A mandatory predeparture meeting with a health representative from McCosh will be held in April or May.
Housing and Meals
Bucharest, Romania: Students will share double rooms at the Ibis Hotel.

Istanbul, Turkey: Students will share double rooms in dorms at Kadir Has University, in historic "Old Istanbul." Rooms have a private bathroom and shower; bedding, towels, and housekeeping services are provided. Students will have breakfast and most lunches on campus and will be on their own to experience the restaurants, eateries, coffeehouses, bakeries, and markets for dinner.
