After a period of rapid economic growth and excitement, Indians are discontented on several fronts. Economic growth has slowed, inflation has been high, concern about corruption has increased significantly and much commentary has reported a sense of drift in governance at the national level.  A visiting delegation of Indian Members of Parliament: Mr. Ajay Maken MP and Minister of State (New Delhi), Mr. Jay Panda MP (Orissa),  Ms. Yashodhara Raje Scindia MP (Madhya Pradesh), Mr. Rama Chandra Khuntia MP (Odisha), Mr.  Prakash Javadekar MP (Maharashtra), Mr. Manish Tewari MP (Punjab), and Mr. Ramesh Chandran, Executive Director of the India-US Forum of Parliamentarians will offer their perspective on all of this from their location at the heart of Indian public life in a discussion moderated by Professor Rahul Sagar of the Department of Politics and hosted by the Center for International Security Studies.
