Tatiana Bilbao created the Tatiana Bilbao Studio in 2004. Born into a family of architects, she gained notoriety in the architecture world in 2006 when she helped build a getaway for artist Gabriel Orozco in Mexico, on a remote beach near Puerto Escondido. Her studio’s objective is to address contemporary society and architecture, research and urban studies, including a department devoted to cultural projects such as exhibitions, lectures, and publications. Bilbao has completed projects in Mexico, China, and Spain.
