Fernando Acosta-Rodríguez (Librarian) presents the PLAS 2012 Reunions event: "Archiving the Intellectual History of Latin America"

Fernando Acosta-Rodríguez, Librarian for Latin American, Iberian and Latino Studies, presenter. José Donoso, Carlos Fuentes and Nobel Laureate Mario Vargas Llosa are just three among the nearly seventy collections of archives, correspondence and manuscripts by 20th and 21st century Latin American writers and intellectuals held by the University Library’s Manuscripts Division. The presentation will introduce participants to some of the treasures among the collections, to the most recent additions, and to the process by which the Library has developed this unparalleled archive of the region’s intellectual history.
