Department administration

The Department of Politics is managed by six faculty administrators (four for the department itself, plus a faculty director for each for our two subsidiaries: the Mamdouha S. Bobst Center for International Peace and Justice and the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions), aided by an administrative manager and 13 full-time staff spread among the three organizations.

Many other faculty serve in administrative capacities within the department; for example, coordinating the areas of specialization for the graduate program, serving on advisory committees overseeing undergraduate or graduate education, or serving as departmental advisers for the Politics undergraduates. Their names and contact information can be found within the relevant sections of this website.
