General computing support
The Politics SCAD (Support for Computing in Academic Departments) is the first place that most Politics faculty, staff, graduate students, and visitors should seek computing support. Email polhelp@princeton.edu or call 609.258.2154.
The Woodrow Wilson School of International and Public Affairs Helpdesk serves and supports staff, faculty, and visitors in the Woodrow Wilson School, and maintains several computing clusters in Robertson Hall for WWS affiliates. Email wwshelp@princeton.edu or call 609.258.1773.
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) Support and Operations Center (SOC) is the primary source of technical support for Princeton affiliates on campus and off-campus; it addresses a range of general and specialized computing needs. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Email helpdesk@princeton.edu or call 609.258.HELP.
The OIT Tech Clinic, located in the Frist Campus Center, offers hands-on assistance with computers brought into the clinic. Both hardware and software support services are available; software purchases may also be made at the OIT Software Depot, next door. OIT Instructional Support Services provides training to students and faculty who wish to use one of Princeton’s many multimedia classrooms. OIT Instructional Support Services also supports teaching and learning outside the classroom, through services such as the videotaping of lectures and field research and learning activities.
