Professor Philip N. Pettit is to give the Muenster Lecture in Philosophy on October 29 in Muenster, Germany, "Freedom and Other Robustly Demanding Goods."
The Münster Lectures in Philosophy, which started in 1997, and since then take place annually, have evolved as a highly renowned get-together of philosophers. The invited guest for the respective lecture gives a public talk and participates in a one- to two-days colloquium with members of the Philosophical Seminar (staff and students) of the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster.
