Anne-Marie Gardner's research interests lie in the interaction of international law and politics, the role of international organizations in managing global affairs, and the analysis of new security threats. Her publications include an article on the Western Saharans' self-determination claim, a co-edited volume on human rights, and a book chapter on the causes of internal conflict. She has received fellowships from the National Science Foundation, the Eisenhower Institute of World Affairs, the P.E.O. Sisterhood, and the Princeton Society of Woodrow! Wilson Fellows.
