C. Dan Myers' research interests lie primarily in the impact of campaign and media strategies on voting behavior and democratic deliberation. He has presented several papers at the MPSA annual meetings including "Telling Voters What They Want to Hear: Exploring the Impact of Micro-Targeting Through a Field Experiment," based on his undergraduate thesis. In addition to his academic work, he has helped to produce media campaigns for several candidates and issue groups for the firm julianmulvey.com and continues to edit the firm's weblog, ataridemocrat. Dan is a 2005 graduate of Allegheny College, where he was a fellow at the Center for Political Participation.
