Specialization: International relations; comparative politics; causes and consequences of intranational and international armed conflict
Keya Jayaram is a first year graduate student pursuing an interest in armed conflict resolution. She was a 2003-04 Fulbright scholar during which time she lived in Bogota, Colombia and studied various aspects of the civil war including internally displaced peoples and Plan Colombia; and a 2004-05 Melman fellow during which time she lived in Mumbai, India and co-wrote a book on women's rights from a legal perspective for the India Centre for Human Rights and Law.
